WHAT IS THE 1000A?
The Neptune microServer 1000A is a slim-size power-packed server that will perform
today's basic web or network-based dedicated tasks. Not only is the 1000A an indisputable
alternative to high-priced oversized servers but also is manufactured with high quality
industry standard components that will bring your network to a new level. Pre-configured* with
RedHat Linux, the operating system of choice for reliability and value, the 1000A can
be "up and running" minutes after delivery.
*Other custom OS configurations including WinNT, Win2000, FreeBSD, Turbo Linux, and Suse are also available.

HOW BIG IS THE 1000A?
The Neptune microServer 1000A measures only 1.75 inches in height (1U Std. height) and
19 inches in depth. This perfect size allows for easy installation within high density 19-inch
rack environments.
ARE THERE OPTIONS FOR THE 1000A?
To further maximize your Return On Investment the 1000A can be equipped with an IDE RAID
option for data security (RAID 1) or data performance (RAID 0). Unlike other micro servers, the
1000A utilizes storage components that are of the highest available quality and performance
such as ultra fast 7200 rpm drives which allow for unequaled value and
performance (up to 100 Mb/s). Custom configurations can include an optional second ethernet
port as well as a CDROM drive or second hard drive. Unlike many of other 1U solutions offered by our competitors, the
1000A comes standard with a VGA port so you can easily administer your server without having
to have a second computer attached.
